Promisces European Project

The aim of the project is to develop innovative solutions to eliminate pollutants derived, to a large extent, by industrial activity, to help establish a pollution-free circular economy, and with the intention of achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal.

To do this, with a budget of €12 million, it will be based on seven typical case studies of European countries, such as Spain, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Vienna and Budapest.

The Promisces project, funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program, is made up of a consortium of twenty-seven partners, from nine different European countries, involving the collaboration of private companies, research centers and water utility companies.

In the Spanish case, the active participation of the Technological Centre of Catalonia, Eurecat, should be highlighted.
