24·7 Data began with a vision to realise the value of the residual data in waste, not only the value in the raw materials and collection sides of the waste industry. In recent years the beginning of the transition from bar codes to chips using RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology has begun and it is now commercially viable to sell not only the materials found in waste but the data itself. Over 2025 the company was a legal vehicle concentrating on putting the correct Intellectual Property Protection in place to exploit this opportunity. Today we are ready to partner with the right waste organisations to present an exciting new revenue stream. Applications of the data are valuable to waste companies for collection management, waste composition for recycling and the wider retail industry to support strategic insights.
