We are pleased to announce the 8 finalist startups of the Open Call for Waste Management Startups. These innovative ventures will compete in the final event, taking place on 10 June at the Foro de las Ciudades, where they will present their elevator pitch to the audience.
In Challenge 1, new solutions to optimise waste management in cities, the selected startups are Rego, Moviro, Altaroad and The Recirculars.
In Challenge 2, new solutions to improve operational efficiency in waste sorting plants, the selected startups are Metaspectral, Humara, Sortflow Limited and Safi Technologies Ltd.
An expert jury will be responsible for selecting the winning startup in each challenge, recognising the most promising solutions in the field of waste management.
We would like to thank the more than 160 startups from 50 countries that took part, for their interest and for the high quality of the proposals submitted.
