Green Carib

Green Carib is a Jamaican circular economy infrastructure company developing plastic mechanical recycling capacity for international EPR supply chains. As a member of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), Green Carib works with JHTA member hotels and their existing waste haulers to segregate plastic at source and establish a dedicated recovery pathway for Jamaica’s tourism sector. Recovered plastic will be mechanically processed into traceable recycled raw materials, including rPET flake designed for EU food-contact applications. At scale, the facility is designed to divert approximately 15,000 metric tons of plastic annually from Jamaica’s active landfill system, supporting the Government of Jamaica’s landfill-diversion objectives while strengthening recycling capacity, waste traceability and circular supply chains.
