Z1RO develops next-generation premium packaging materials based on non-wood biomass. Our core activity is transforming agricultural and urban plant residues - hemp, bamboo, grapevine residues and fallen leaves - into bio-additives for molded-fiber packaging. These materials are designed to replace plastic inserts and reduce dependence on virgin wood pulp, while remaining compatible with existing molded-fiber and paper production equipment. Unlike conventional pulping routes, our process avoids chemical pulping and relies on lower-impact mechanical preparation, helping reduce CO₂ emissions, water and energy consumption. Z1RO focuses on premium packaging applications for cosmetics, electronics, wines, spirits and gifting, where sustainability must also deliver protection, design quality and a distinctive tactile experience. Our mission is to turn local biomass waste into scalable, recyclable, lower-carbon packaging for brands seeking environmental impact and premium differentiation.
