Recirculate Systems Limited

Recirculate Systems is fintech infrastructure that makes reuse as frictionless as single-use. We embed deposits, returns and refunds directly into existing payment rails: a small deposit is added to a customer's card when they buy a drink in a reusable cup; our software links the cup's unique ID to that transaction; when the cup is returned anywhere in the network, we trigger an automatic refund via Visa Direct. No app, no registration, no behaviour change. This removes the two barriers that have capped reuse adoption below 3%: behavioural friction (apps, QR codes, memberships) and financial friction (reuse costing more than single-use). We are not a reuse network or logistics provider — we are the transaction and traceability layer that reuse networks and merchants plug into to comply with the EU's PPWR, which mandates 10% reusable takeaway packaging by 2030.
