Startly Innovations is an Indian climate-tech company developing plant-based biodegradable and compostable alternatives to conventional single-use plastic packaging. We combine material selection, product development and manufacturing to produce scalable packaging solutions for retailers, institutions, businesses and public-sector users. Our materials are designed to provide the functionality required for everyday applications while reducing dependence on fossil-based plastics and supporting safer end-of-life outcomes. Startly has progressed beyond the idea and prototype stages into commercial production and market deployment, supported by government recognition and an expanding B2B/B2G customer base. Through the Circular Packaging Challenge, we aim to validate our materials against international performance requirements, co-develop flexible-packaging applications with industry partners and establish pilots that can accelerate adoption in European and global markets.
