Ebb & Flow Keg GmbH is a Frankfurt-based start-up building a closed-loop reuse system for wine and wine-based beverages. Instead of single-use glass bottles, we deliver wine on tap in stainless-steel kegs that stay in circulation for up to 30 years and save up to 40% CO2 compared with bottled wine. Our main activity is distributing wine in kegs to restaurants, bars, hotels, caterers, festivals and events. We combine three roles in one - filler, specialist wine retailer and provider of sustainable reusable packaging - and manage the full keg logistics, from cleaning and filling through to collection and return, so customers pour fresh wine with no glass waste, less storage space and less handling.
