Natural Negative

Natural Negative is a UK materials-informatics company. We make bio-based and recycled materials run reliably on existing packaging lines. Our platform, DropForm, combines graph neural networks with polymer physics to predict how a candidate formulation will process, perform and fail before anyone compounds a pellet. Predictions are corrected by live production-line data, and every shortlisted candidate is lab-validated before release. This closes the gap between materials discovery and commercial manufacturing, cutting formulation development from 18 to 36 months to months. We supply formulations and materials data rather than locking customers into one material vendor, so brands and converters keep control of their supply chain while meeting PPWR recyclability, recycled-content and material-reduction targets. Traction: two paying customers, including a GBP 130k material transition for a UK oral-care brand; GBP 440k of Innovate UK grants; validation with CPI and UCL.
