The “1m2 against litter in nature” project, by SEO/BirdLife in alliance with Ecoembes, brings together more than 166,000 waste collectors every year, who are motivated from their companies, municipalities, schools, associations to contribute to the abandonment of waste in the nature. This is undoubtedly the most important campaign of the year in terms of mobilization and media impact, and is celebrated on Saturday, June 1, prior to World Environment Day.
