We develop innovative technologies for the production of sustainable packaging materials. The first of these technologies enables the production of “PapairWrap”, a bubble wrap made entirely from paper. PapairWrap combines sustainability, reliable cushioning properties and cost efficiency like no other packaging material before. It is the sustainable alternative to conventional packaging materials and can be used as a substitute for the plastic version for almost all products that are packed and shipped.
We have been producing our paper bubble wrap on our own pilot line since August 2023. Our technology makes it possible to combine an embossed and a smooth paper web without the use of plastics or adhesives. It remains a mono-material that can be recycled via the existing recycling system.
We also offer other packaging materials, such as PapairBags and PapairSheets, based on the roll material. PapairWrap is also available with a water and oil-repellent coating.
