Our smart return kiosk is the most advanced reverse vending machine on the EU market, leveraging RFID technology to allow users to get deposit refunds quickly using a patented “Drop, Tap & Go!” process. In practice, you buy food or a beverage in a reusable container or cup pay a deposit of say €2. When you are done, you toss your empty cups/salad boxes/etc in our kiosk at a stadium or on the street. We scan them and confirm that they are eligible for deposit refund before setting up a payment order to the payment terminal. The customer just needs to tap their phone or card to instantly get the deposit back, thanks to the fintech solution we have organised. Behind the scenes, we provide a cloud-based container management system, risk/fraud management strategies as well as on-demand impact reports. We sell the kiosks and charge a monthly service fee to cover transaction fees & other operating costs of the machine.
