The second edition of the Up2Circ call is open from 1 March 2025, an initiative supported by the European Commission within the RESILIENCE project, funded in 2022 under the Horizon Europe programme (Cluster 4). Its aim is to foster the transition towards more circular business models, products, and processes in SMEs across EU Member States.
With a total budget of €1,020,000, up to 40 projects will be funded in two categories:
🔹 Small-scale projects (6 months | €15,000): Feasibility studies for integrating at least one of five circular business models, such as collaborative economy or recycling. The five eligible circular business models include:
- Circular supply chain
- Collaborative economy
- Product-as-a-service
- Product life extension
- Recovery and recycling
🔹Large-scale projects (12 months | €50,000): Pilots and demonstration projects focused on the implementation of new technologies, innovative product designs, or solutions that promote the circular economy. Three types of eligible activities include:
- Implementation of technologies to enhance circularity
- Adoption of circular product design
- Introduction of new products, processes, or services
