The European Commission has launched two calls for proposals and an auction under the Innovation Fund to promote clean and zero-emission technologies in Europe. These initiatives, funded by revenues from the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), aim to strengthen manufacturing capacity, technological leadership, and supply chain resilience in Europe.
- IF24 Call – With a budget of €2.4 billion, this call aims to support projects related to net-zero technologies.
- IF24 Battery Call – With a budget of €1 billion, this call focuses on financing the manufacturing of battery cells for electric vehicles.
