The European Commission has announced a new call for proposals under the Digital Europe Programme 2025–2027, aimed at funding up to four Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) pilot projects for Public Administrations.
To support consortium building and provide detailed information on this initiative, an online Info Day will be held on 14 April 2025.
The total budget for the call is €21 million, with €5 to €7 million allocated per project.
Objective: To implement scalable and replicable GenAI solutions in public administrations in order to improve decision-making, optimise internal processes, increase accessibility, and simplify bureaucratic procedures.
The Info Day will include a detailed presentation of the call, outlining its objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes. It will also offer networking opportunities between interested public authorities, integrators, and other stakeholders to support the formation of project consortia.
This initiative is part of the European Commission’s Apply AI strategy, which aims to accelerate the adoption and innovation of AI by leveraging solutions developed in Europe.
