We develop smart recycling systems to help businesses increase their recycling rates using AI and robotics. Our flagship product is a smart waste bin, designed for places with high footfall (e.g. airports, conference centres, malls, …), that sorts waste automatically with 95% accuracy, increasing recycling rates 2-4x, and reducing waste management costs by 50%.
Our bins have been trialled at Edinburgh Airport, the University of Edinburgh, and Skypark Glasgow (an office building housing various businesses). The first bins have just been sold to and installed at GT Railway (UK train company) in London.
In addition, we are working with ScotRail and the Department for Transport of the UK Government on a small-scale sorting facility that sorts bags of waste at the back-of-house of train stations and depots, which will increase recycling rates where our smart bins might not be the best option.
