BZERO develops and produces high-performance biomaterials from renewable resources, designed to replace fossil-based plastics in packaging applications. Our mission is clear: to bring sustainable, scalable alternatives to market that meet real industry requirements. Our technology enables the manufacture of ultra-thin, high-mechanical-performance films that are compostable at home and under industrial conditions, and compatible with conventional converting processes. We offer an alternative to low-density polyethylene for flexible packaging applications. One of our most promising product lines involves developing paper-laminated structures in which an ultra-thin BZERO film provides functionalities such as heat sealability and strength. These solutions aim to enable compatibility with paper and cardboard recycling processes, replace fossil-based plastic layers, or offer composting as an end-of-life route.
