At Dionymer, we produce bioplastics (PHA) from biowaste using an innovative fermentation process (4 patents). We therefore offer a biodegradable, biobased and 100% natural powder to replace petroleum-based materials in several sectors: - Coatings: our powder could be incorporated into coatings formulation to replace petroleum-based materials. It brings barrier properties (water, oxygen, grease& ), softness, mattifying whilst maintaining biodegradability and biobased content for the final product.- Pellets for use in extrusion or injection moulding processes as additives to improve the mechanical properties of bioplastics or to move towards bio-based and biodegradable end products.- Cosmetics: our spherical powder can be incorporated into formulations to replace PMMA, nylon or silica, whilst providing sensory properties, a mattifying effect, compaction properties and a SPF boost effect.
