Fairbrics

Created in 2019, Fairbrics is a French and Belgian based start-up which developed a technology where carbon dioxide, often considered a pollutant, is being used as a valuable feedstock to create various kind of products.  In an industry where packaging made of PET accounts for around 31% of the global plastics used, Fairbrics aims to reduce the industry’s reliance on fossil fuels. Our innovative processes enable the production of carbon negative plastic packaging solutions from CO2 emissions with the exact same characteristics than their fossil-based counterparts. After an initial R&D phase, Fairbrics’ first pilot plant has opened in Antwerp in 2023 to showcase the industrial potential of the technology.Customers wise Fairbrics is developing a network of partners in multiple industries and is backed by European grants and Equity investments from VCs and industrials.
