Folia Materials is an award-winning materials science startup using advanced paper coating technology as our platform super material. Following our 2023 shift to food packaging, we created the world's first 100% paper microwave food susceptor using our patented coating technology. Our packaging elevates frozen and microwavable foods by evenly distributing microwave energy during cooking while soaking up grease, oil, and moisture, delighting consumers with better-textured meals. Led by PhD scientists, certified research chefs, and packaging executives, Folia helps brands and distributors replace single-use packaging with high-performance, sustainable paper solutions.
