Greenspire Farming Tech designs and manufactures GreenSpire 360, a modular vertical food production system with a closed-loop materials cycle. The cultivation cassettes are produced from post-consumer recycled rPET/PETG (EFSA/FDA food-grade) using 3D printing. At the end of their life cycle, they are shredded and re-extruded on-site to manufacture new cassettes, achieving a 92% yield and a 65% reduction in material costs compared to virgin filament. Dependence on global supply chains: zero. The biological substrate (biochar from local biomass combined with microbial consortia) acts as a permanent CO₂ sink and, at the end of the agronomic cycle, is converted into an organic amendment similar to Terra Preta, certifiable as a fertiliser (RD 506/2013), generating a second revenue stream. The system saves more than 90% of water compared to conventional irrigation and produces 20 times more food per square metre. Each module occupies 2.2 square metres, accommodates 360 plants, and can be assembled without tools.
