MAUA YA MLIMA is a woman founded company and a youth led organisation that want to redefine the waste collection in kenya . our country mainly really on dumping waste in the land fills but we as maua decided to put a zero dumping policy where we sort the waste we collected and we have partnered with recycler for diffrent waste fractions. we did a pilot on event waste where we sort event waste and we so that 100% of the waste is recyclable and zero dumping policy is our back bone and that what we are venturing into for healthcare waste and harzadous waste which goes direct to a partner with a private incinerator and also for industrial and event waste where the both offer a sorting site and 95 % of it can be recycled for residential waste we currently dont take it because we have a yard where the waste require thorough sorting
