Paint’R ApS is developing a more sustainable replacement for the paint bucket, which will minimize the amount of single-use packaging and optimize logistics for the many paint producers in the EU.
The solution to the painting industry's problems is the Paint’R box. It consists of a 100% recyclable cardboard box that contains 10 liters of paint divided into 2 patented bags. By switching to bags, the material consumption of contaminated primary packaging is reduced by 75%. The material saved is mainly PP plastic.
The product has been developed over an extended period, and we now believe we have developed the final design and have visited several stores to test the design with painters. There has been overwhelmingly positive feedback, and 69% would choose our solution over a traditional paint bucket.
Due to innovative design and material choices, a minimum of 65% CO2 and 75% plastic is saved.
