Progreen Innovations is a Kenyan clean-tech venture tackling plastic pollution and high energy costs. Our core activity is the chemical recycling of plastic waste into certified, affordable energy and sustainable materials.
We use patented pyrolysis to convert waste into certified drop-in alternative diesel and petrol, which is ~20% cheaper than fossil fuels and requires no engine modification. We maximize value by also producing industrial heating briquettes from process residues and interlocking construction blocks from plastic laminates.
Through this, we create a profitable market for waste, we clean the environment, provide stable income for waste pickers, and offer businesses a cheaper, cleaner energy source, building a tangible circular economy in Kenya.
