Re-Du

Re-Du is a U.S.-based circular materials company developing scalable chemical recycling technologies for difficult-to-recycle plastic waste. Our proprietary, ORNL-originated catalyst platform selectively deconstructs PET from complex waste streams - including post-consumer bottles, multilayer packaging, textiles, and carpet - without requiring extensive sorting. We convert PET waste into high-purity recycled monomers that can be repolymerized into virgin-quality PET, enabling true bottle-to-bottle and packaging-to-packaging circularity. Re-Du is advancing from laboratory and kilogram-scale validation toward an industrial pilot and regional commercial facilities. Our mission is to create a scalable, economically viable circular pathway that keeps valuable materials in the manufacturing loop and reduces dependence on virgin fossil-based feedstocks.
