Recircula Solutions is a technological company that develops technology for the urban waste management sector with the aim of digitalizing the entire waste value chain, giving the authorities the tools to involve citizens in a new active role thanks to the use of incentives. This is possible thanks to RecySmart. RecySmart, is an IoT device adaptable to any type of urban waste container, which allows encouraging good recycling actions by citizens, turning any container into Smart. To apply an incentive program, it is necessary to safely identify the containers that citizens recycle to avoid fraud to the system. Our technology, patented in Europe, can identify multiple packaging waste (glass, plastic, metal, and cardboard) recycled by citizens thanks to its innovative sensor. The technology allows to increase recycling rates by an extra 20-30% depending on the incentive program chosen in the Return and Reward Systems (SDR).
