ReVita

ReVita by Bi-rex is a circular materials technology that transforms agro-food by-products, such as rice husks, wheat bran, brewery spent grains and tomato residues, into functional fibres for paper production. These fibres are integrated into paper and board, replacing part of conventional virgin cellulose and giving value to materials that would otherwise remain low-value residues. ReVita has already been validated at industrial scale in packaging board and tissue applications. The technology is designed to work with existing paper-production processes and enables the creation of customised papers linked to specific local by-products and supply chains. Bi-rex works with paper mills, converters and brands from R&D and industrial trials through to the development of market-ready paper and packaging solutions.
