The Ocean Package

The Ocean Package is a German circular packaging company developing reusable shipping solutions for e-commerce, retail and closed-loop logistics. We replace single-use cardboard packaging with durable, recyclable polypropylene boxes designed for 20+ reuse cycles, with real-world applications already reaching 50– 70 cycles. Our approach combines physical packaging, digital tracking and closed-loop recycling. Each packaging can be tracked through our software, enabling companies to monitor reuse cycles, return rates, costs and environmental impact. At the end of its useful life, we collect the packaging and recycle the material back into the value chain. Since 2021, we have sold around 100,000 reusable boxes and work with companies across 10 European countries. Our goal is to make reusable packaging economically competitive, operationally scalable and measurable – turning packaging from single-use waste into a managed circular asset.
