UNICO develops a specialised SaaS platform that helps local authorities and private operators manage, plan and optimise waste collection operations - from route preparation and on-site execution tracking via mobile tools, to data reliability and performance management through KPIs.
The challenge addressed is twofold: waste collection is still largely managed through manual processes and unreliable data, leading to higher costs, time losses, limited traceability and compliance issues, while also restricting route optimisation and therefore the reduction of kilometres travelled (and associated emissions).
UNICO’s business model is based on a SaaS subscription (licence and services), tailored to the size and scope of each client organisation, and includes dedicated support for deployment and on-the-ground adoption.
