We are Without®, a B Corp deep-tech materials company based in Pune, India. Every year around 150 million tonnes of "impossible" waste, metallised multilayer plastic like chip packets and sachets plus soiled, mixed textiles, enters the waste stream. Less than 1% is recycled, and the 15 to 20 million people closest to it work informally, in poverty. Our patented technology, VerdiCycle, changes both. It is a water-based, chemo-mechanical process running at around 120°C, not pyrolysis or gasification, that recovers high-performance materials from waste nobody else can process. A single reactor performs five actions at once, turning that waste into engineered recycled polyolefins, recycled PET, recycled polyester yarn and construction composites, all at virgin parity. We hold 8 patents (3 granted, 5 pending), and our plant is run by formalised former waste-pickers, now in secure, dignified jobs. Recycling the impossible, while creating dignified livelihoods, is the whole point.
