Zafree

Zafree Papers is a circular materials company transforming agricultural residues into sustainable pulp and paper-based packaging. Starting with banana stems left after harvest, we create high-quality, tree-free virgin pulp that replaces conventional wood fibre and can be converted into products such as trays, boxes and other paper packaging. Our model creates value from underutilized agricultural residues, generates additional income opportunities for farmers and local collectors, and connects Africa's agricultural value chain with the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We produce and supply pulp while also delivering finished packaging solutions to customers through our manufacturing partnerships.
