The TECMA 2026 fair, dedicated to urban planning and the environment, will host the 20th edition of the Silver/Gold/Platinum Broom Awards, organised by ATEG RUS (the Technical Association for Waste Management and the Environment).
This initiative aims to recognise technical excellence and highlight the social, economic and environmental impact of projects focused on waste management, urban cleaning, industrial sanitation, social innovation and technologies that improve quality of life and sustainability.
Applications are accepted both nationally and internationally, although each participant may apply for only one award per edition. The registration period opened on 1 September and will remain open until 15 January 2026.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, with the attendance of institutional representatives, public administration officials and professionals from the sector. The jury will be composed of renowned experts in the relevant fields and members of the ATEGRUS board, with the support of the ISWA (International Solid Waste Association).
