| 8 Oct 2026 | Lightweight materials | Eureka Network |
The call is open until 8 October 2026 at 17:00 CEST and targets international consortia with commercialisation potential.
What it is
The call is seeking solutions that reduce weight and material use, replace conventional raw materials with more sustainable alternatives, improve repairability, disassembly, recyclability and reuse, or apply digital technologies to optimise design, life-cycle assessment and material traceability.
Although the call has a multisectoral scope, it may be particularly relevant for solutions applied to mobility, construction, energy, infrastructure, engineering, industry and advanced manufacturing.
Who it is for
The call is open to consortia involving at least two independent legal entities from two participating Eureka countries. Startups, SMEs, large companies, universities and research organisations may participate, subject to national funding rules.
How to participate
Proposals must be submitted by 8 October 2026. Selected projects may receive funding decisions between December 2026 and April 2027, with projects expected to start between February and June 2027.
