What it is

The objective is to develop and demonstrate tools, solutions and business models that enable greater circularity in construction and reduce material use, raw material extraction and the life-cycle emissions of buildings.

Proposals should address areas such as urban mining, reuse and recycling of construction products and materials, bio-based secondary materials, adaptable design, renovation, building reuse, demolition waste diagnostics and material banks.

Who it is for

The call may be particularly relevant for consortia involving startups, SMEs, cities, construction companies, technology centres, digital platforms, traceability solutions, marketplaces for recovered materials or life-cycle assessment tools.

How to participate

Proposals must demonstrate solutions in at least three cities located in different EU Member States or associated countries. The cities must participate as beneficiaries.
