Materials In Works Sdn Bhd (MIW) is a Malaysian circular economy company that transforms pre-consumer glassine label waste into Recovered Cellulose Pulp (RCP) — a renewable, high-yield raw material. Our proprietary upcycling process diverts hard-to-recycle waste from landfills and reintroduces it into the supply chain as sustainable molded packaging or paper tissue. MIW collaborates with ecosystem partners such as Avery Dennison, Mega Label, and Jishan Pack to create a closed-loop solution — from label waste to packaging and back into compost or recycling. With recognition from Shell LiveWIRE, and Top Achievers Malaysia, MIW is building Southeast Asia’s first scalable model for label-to-packaging upcycling, advancing Scope 3 emission reduction for global brands.
