The ECLIPSE Citizen Science Hackathon – Science, Climate and Humanity in Motion will bring together participants from different countries in Soria to develop citizen science projects aimed at addressing environmental, social and territorial challenges. The event will coincide with the total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026.
This is a five-day training experience based on hands-on learning, teamwork and expert mentoring. Participants will be able to turn ideas into concrete projects related to biodiversity, climate change, migration, planetary health, technology, astronomy and social innovation.

The hackathon is open to researchers, educators, environmental professionals, social organisations, entrepreneurs, technology profiles, students, public administrations and anyone interested in citizen science, sustainability and territorial resilience.
