The European Product Design Award (EPDA) has opened its 2025 edition, recognising the work of designers and companies that create innovative, functional, and environmentally responsible products.
The EPDA celebrates excellence in product design across categories including technology, consumer goods, furniture, transport, medical, ecological design, and more.
Deadline for submissions: 15 June 2025
While the award is not limited to circular projects, the jury takes into account criteria such as:

The product’s ecological compatibility

Environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle

Responsible use of materials and design efficiency

Potential for recycling, reuse, or repair
In previous editions, the award has recognised products developed according to circular economy principles, such as the use of recycled or biodegradable materials and design strategies that extend the product’s lifespan.
Winners will gain international visibility through specialised publications, inclusion in the official EPDA gallery, and use of the official seal on their products and communications.
