Ecohelix has been awarded €2.5 million in funding from the European LIFE programme to support the development and scale-up of its innovative technology based on hemicellulose, a biopolymer extracted from residual streams of the pulp and paper industry.
This project will contribute to replacing fossil-based polymers with bio-based alternatives in key industrial sectors, strengthening the role of the bioeconomy in the green transition.
