Startup Valencia has opened the call for applications for the 2025 edition of its International Startup Competition, an initiative aimed at discovering and promoting the most innovative ventures in the global startup ecosystem, within the framework of the Valencia Digital Summit, taking place on 22–23 October at the iconic City of Arts and Sciences.
The competition is divided into two categories:

Early Stage, aimed at young startups that are self-funded or have raised funding up to Series A

Growth Stage, for startups with more advanced funding rounds (Series A to C)
Both categories focus on tech-based products and companies with fewer than 100 employees.
Startups may select up to two sector-specific subcategories such as Digital Transformation, Social Impact, or Emerging Technologies, which helps improve visibility with investors and relevant industry players.
The application deadline is 27 June 2025. After a selection process, 50 semifinalists will be announced. From these, an international jury will choose 10 finalists, who will pitch live on the main stage at VDS.
Winning startups will gain international exposure, access to key investors, and a featured spot at the next edition of the event, consolidating this competition as a key platform for scaling tech ventures.
