Circular Valley is looking for circular economy startups to participate in the 3-month Circular Economy Accelerator program with a 3-week face-to-face phase in Germany. 15 startups participate in the program twice a year, which are provided with financial support related to travel, accommodation, and business-related expenses during the accelerator program.
The focus is on waste design, production technologies with minimized environmental impact, marking technologies, product passports, track and trace, collection, waste stream separation, waste logistics, reuse models, recycling technologies. innovations, novel service models and digital enabled technologies.
The industrial focus, in line with the EU Green Deal and CEAP, is electronics, information and communication technologies, batteries and vehicles, packaging, plastics, textiles, construction and buildings. , furniture, high-impact intermediate products (steel, cement, chemicals), food, water and nutrients.
The benefits of participating include direct and close contact with more than 100 industry, R&D and government partners, as well as experiencing and being part of an international, diverse and innovative environment. You will be able to attend expert workshops and training modules, as well as one-on-one mentoring and coaching to support the development of new businesses.
Businesses will receive personal mentorship and become part of the great Circular Valley network. This network includes corporate partners, scientific partners, alumni, investors, press representatives, and more. They will also benefit from exchanging with other startups and their international networks.
The application period for the next call (Batch 5) started on May 15 and ends on August 11, 2023 supporting the EU Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP). CEAP is a central component of the EU Green Deal. Its general objective is the reduction/elimination of pollution, that is, emission flows of all kinds with a negative impact on the environment.
