The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator has launched a new call to support collaborations between corporates and startups from the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean seeking to develop and validate digital solutions through joint innovation projects.
The call will remain open until November 30, 2026.
What it is
The programme offers six months of acceleration support to help corporate-startup pairs develop their collaboration, define the business case, and carry out proof-of-concept activities.
Available support includes acceleration services worth up to €30,000, or up to €40,000 when a Caribbean partner is involved, as well as grants of up to €10,500 for startups to cover PoC development, travel, and equipment transportation costs.
Open Call #6 particularly encourages projects developing artificial intelligence solutions, although digital technologies from any sector are also eligible.
Who it is for
Each application must include, at a minimum:
- one corporate;
- one startup or innovative SME;
- partners from two different regions among the EU, Latin America, and the Caribbean;
- a digital transformation challenge they aim to address jointly.
The programme is looking for companies with existing customers that are ready to internationalise and, as a general guideline, technologies at around TRL 7 or above.
It may be particularly relevant for digital startups working on traceability, logistics, resource efficiency, waste management, smart manufacturing, or circularity, provided they already have a corporate partner or find one through the programme’s matching platform.
