Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation funding program for 2021-2027, funds R&I projects related to the circular economy under Groups 4 and 6.
Group 4, “Digital, Industry and Space”, includes “Destination 1: Climate neutral, circular and digitalized production”, related to technologies that enable circularity in the manufacturing, process and construction industries. On the other hand, the ” Destination 2: Greater autonomy in key strategic value chains for a resilient industry”, includes the area of raw materials and advanced materials.
The deadline for this call is February 7, 2024.
Info Days for this Group 4 will take place on October 11 and 12, 2023.
Group 6, “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”, includes, in relation to the circular economy, “Destination 3: Circular economy and bioeconomy sectors”, which addresses a systemic approach in all sectors, as well as in civil society, and covers the entire value chain, including technological, business, governance and social innovation aspects.
Applications can be submitted from October 17, 2023, and the deadline will be February 22, 2024.
