The 3rd edition of the Circular Packaging Challenge has closed its application phase with particularly strong participation: 245 applications from 68 countries across 5 continents were received.
This figure reflects the growing international interest in developing new solutions to help advance towards more circular packaging.
Next phase: application evaluation
The partner companies and programme experts are currently reviewing the applications according to the established criteria:
- maturity and achievements;
- innovation;
- alignment with the proposed challenges.
This phase will identify the solutions with the greatest potential to address the circularity challenges covered in this edition.
Finalists and final event
The finalist startups will be announced at the end of October.
The selected startups will be invited to take part in the in-person final event, which will be held on 19 November 2026 in Madrid.
The final event will bring together startups, partner companies and other ecosystem stakeholders to discover the selected solutions and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
